Also reported, without a public artifact: 6 properties on one system.

The situation

Six properties, one SEO function, and no shared system. Each site had been handled on its own
terms, which meant every new article started from a blank page and every property solved the
same problems differently.

A portfolio does not get faster by working harder on each site individually. It gets faster
when the work becomes infrastructure that any writer on any property can execute.

What I built

  • An 18-section content brief system — so a brief carries the full specification of a page
and a writer is not making structural decisions ad hoc.
  • A keyword research framework and topical mapping, applied consistently across all six
properties rather than reinvented per site.
  • A Power Pages internal linking strategy, concentrating authority on the pages that were
    actually built to convert.
  • Writer SOPs, so quality did not depend on which writer picked up the task.

On top of that: technical audits, crawl issue fixes, cannibalisation resolution and structured
data across every property.

The result

On the flagship, VezaDigital.com, the first four months moved average position from
42.7 to 24.7 and clicks +69%, on essentially unchanged impressions. That pattern
matters — it means the gain came from making existing pages rank better, not from flooding
the index with new URLs.

Over the full tenure the property recorded 13.5K clicks and 9.48M impressions at 17.5
average position
, with +34 top-3 keyword rankings.

The system transferred. ShadowDigital.cc rose +130% in clicks in four months, and
Vezafy.com is up +644% in sessions since its October 2025 launch. Across the portfolio
the content team published 45 articles against a 134-article roadmap.

VezaDigital.com over the full tenure. Impressions (purple) and average position (orange) both trend the right way; clicks (blue) follow with a lag, which is the normal shape when a site is still climbing into click-earning positions.Google Search Console · 13.5K clicks · 9.48M impressions · 17.5 average position
The first four months under the new system against the four months before it: clicks went from 2.36K to 3.99K, a 69% increase, on almost identical impressions (1.45M to 1.48M).Google Search Console · period comparison
The same comparison read through average position: 42.7 to 24.7. Flat impressions with a large position gain is the signature of existing pages being made to rank better, rather than new pages being added.Google Search Console · period comparison
The same playbook on a second property. ShadowDigital.cc went from 452 to 1.04K clicks — up 130% — with average position improving from 35.6 to 22.Google Search Console · ShadowDigital.cc · period comparison

What this proved

  1. Turning SEO into shared infrastructure (18-section briefs, a keyword framework, Power Pages linking, writer SOPs) moved the flagship from position 42.7 to 24.7 with clicks up 69% in four months, on unchanged impressions.
  2. The gains came from making existing pages rank better, not from adding URLs to the index.
  3. The system transferred across the portfolio: ShadowDigital.cc up 130% in clicks in four months, Vezafy.com up 644% in sessions since launch.
